Why did I expect to understand?
As I think about my life and the different seasons I have been through, I am able to find some understanding for a decent amount of tough stuff I've gone through in the past, yet I often find little understanding for what is happening in the present. Time has taught me a lesson that I should just trust God will use what I'm going through, as He always has.
Even more trustworthy than the lessons of time is the truth of Scripture which tells me that "we know that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28)
