Mount Washington, NH - Hiking to the Summit on the Jewell Trail

Mount Washington, home of the world's worst weather, sits at 6,288 feet making it the tallest mountain in the northeastern US. Follow me as I hike to the summit from the Ammonoosuc Ravine trailhead! The trail is approximately 5.2 miles one-way with a 4,186' elevation gain.

***Do yourself a favor and arrive early if you plan to hike it! It takes 5 hours and 10 minutes on average to reach the summit. You need to allot enough time to ascend and descend the mountain on foot if you are trying to complete the NH 48 AKA the 4,000-Footer Challenge!***
