Q1. What is the H-bridge in a motor driver ?
Answer : H-bridge is an electronic circuit that looks like the letter H. An H-bridge is used to drive a load, such as a brushed DC motor, in both directions. And it controls the flow of current to a load.
Q2. How does a H-bridge driver work ?
Answers: H-bridge is built of four switches that control the flow of current to a load.
Q3. Why is it called an H-bridge ?
Answer : What is an H-bridge? Its name derives from the fact that that switching transistors are designed in an 'H' configuration. Mainly used for forward and reverse control in DC motors, it can also be found in latching relay drive circuits.
Q4. What are the advantages of H-bridge driver ?
Answer: The main advantages of using an H-Bridge driver are: high efficiency, rotation direction change, and braking the motor.
Q5. How does H-bridge control motor speed ?
Answer: bridge curcuit is used for controlling DC motor speed and rotating side. The H bridge driver Mosfets are driven by a high frequency PWM signal. Controlling the PWM duty cycle is equivalent to controlling the motor terminal voltage, which in turn adjust directly the motor speed.
Q6. How does motor driver work ?
Answer : use motor drivers to give high power to the motor by using a small voltage signal from a microcontroller or a control system. If the microprocessor transmits a HIGH input to the motor driver, The driver will rotate the motor in one direction keeping the one pin as HIGH and one pin as LOW.
Q7. What is the H-bridge for DC to AC ?
Answer : The H bridge inverter is used to convert DC voltages to AC voltages. An h bridge is common in generating pure sine waveforms from DC square waveforms. H-bridge consists of 4 switches which could be transistors or MOSFETs.
