Tax Structure and Tax Return of Freelancers in Pakistan
There are two categories of freelancers:
1. Pakistan based income
It is taxable and you will file your tax return as a normal Business man.
2. Foreign income – Taxable @ 0.25% and @ 1%
Conditions for Both:
• Registered with PSEB (Pakistan Software Board) will be charged at the rate of 0.25 %.
• Not Registered with PSEB (Pakistan Software Board) will be charged at the rate of 1 %.
