1. Go to secp.gov.pk.
2. Click SECP e-Services.
3. Create a login ID for the individual for Applying Name Reservation.
4. Click Sign up for national.
a) Fill the form with required information, which includes
b) CNIC
c) CNIC expiry date
d) CNIC issuance date
e) Set password
f) Confirm Password.
g) Full name
h) Father/ Spouse Name
i) Date of Birth
j) Current address
k) Permanent Address
l) Gender
m) Mobile Number (Must be listed on individual’s CNIC)
n) Email Address (Must be comprised of individual’s complete name)
o) Verify the registration by entering Captcha
p) Tick the check box for declaration. Click Continue.
q) After clicking continue, codes will be generated through SMS and Email
r) Enter the received codes to the respective columns to complete registration process.
s) Once registration process is completed, pin code will be generated through SMS/email
t) Save CNIC, password and pin code to client list file on office server.
5) Log in to the individual’s SECP account just created, using the login/password.
6) Click on Company Name Reservation in List of Processes column.
7) Enter the proposed company’s name along with two optional proposed names. (Check name
availability on SECP website before finalization of proposed names).
a) Go to secp.gov.pk.(H)
b) Click SECP e-Services.(H)
c) Click name availability search (H)
d) Filter three proposed names.
8) Select Appropriate Principal Line of Business
9) Select the mode of payment (Select ADC/ E payment from drop down list)
10) Enter the applicant information (Proposed directors of the company)
a) Name
b) CNIC
c) Applicant address
d) Applicant email
f) Applicant’s City (Select from drop down list)
11) Click Continue to submit the process.
12) From the options given on the page, click bank challan and save it.
13) From the options given on the page, click misc. attachments to attach any additional documents
required. (pdf format only)
14) From the options given on the page, click application form and download it. (pdf format)
15) From the options given on the page, click sign forms. Enter the pin for verification and click
submit to submit the process.
Note: Process can be edited even it is verified but once the process is submitted, it cannot be
reversed.
a) Go to the process list (main page)
b) Click manage company users on the top right of the screen
c) Set user type to primary for all the subscribers.
d) Once the company is incorporated, select the authorised user from the same above
option. To select an authorised user, a special resolution is passed immediately after the
company is incorporated. The resolution specimen is provided to the client when it has
made its letter head and stamp. The resolution is signed by the directors and is submitted on
the SECP website within the same area i.e. manage company users. After the resolution is
submitted, the CEO becomes the authorised signatory for all the correspondences with
SECP.
16) If there is any issue in the primary name selected, secondary name will be selected. If secondary
not available, then process will be reverted back and can be altered. It shall be submitted after
entering new proposed names.
17) If the proposed name is selected, an automated email will be sent to the individual. The name
shall be available for 60 days only.
18) Once the name is available, that reserved name will be shown in the Login ID of the individual.
19) Click on the login option available in front of the name of the company within the login Id of the
individual.
20) From the given list of available processes on the page, click company incorporation to open
company incorporation form.
21) Select mode of payment (ADC/ E payment from drop down list.
22) Type in the registered office address of the company. If the company does not intend to start its
business, type in the correspondence address.
23) Select the principal line of business from the drop down menu (Similar to the one selected
during name reservation)
24) Mark holding company and special business as Not Applicable if such relationship does not exist.
25) Define class and kind of shares, per share value, authorized capital (in term of shares) in next box.
26) Select Table A Part 1 in case of company limited by shares or Select table A part 2 in case of
Single Member Company (SMC) limited by shares.
27) Type in the name of the declarant (In most cases, a person named in the Articles of Association
as Director of the proposed company)
28) Type in the signatory’s information.
29) Press continue to move to the next window.
