Minneapolis voters reject ‘getting rid’ of police force
Voters in Minneapolis, Minnesota have voted against removing the city’s police force, according to Sky News host Paul Murray.
“Remember, Minneapolis in Minnesota is where George Floyd was murdered by the police officer,” Mr Murray said.
“The people of Minneapolis, Minnesota were asked today about whether they would get rid of the police force.
“And guess how they voted – no.
“In a huge number, of 56-44, they voted to keep their police department.”
