Dead Space Review 2020 [A Survival Horror Classic]

Dead Space is considered by many as a survival horror classic. But what made it so good, and does it still hold up?

Having never played it until now, I was sceptical that it could live up to the hype. After all, this came out pretty early in the 360’s lifespan and horror games have come a long way since. I was positive that without a handy pair of nostalgia glasses, there was no way this could be as good, or as scary as what everybody says. So I set out to answer that question with this review.
