See Pictures @ https://www.facebook.com/DuluthShipPhotography
Actually it was a Wednesday drive, just posting it on a Sunday....
About this visit:
The Candace Elise arrived Duluth May 08, 2024 at 02:00 for the 2nd time this season pushing the Barge Robert F Deegan with calcium chloride brine from Ludington, MI for the Envirotech H-8 dock up river. They came into the canal at 5.8 kts, just a hair below their cruising speed. Arrived at the Dock at 03:18 and began pumping the brine out of the barge. May 09 they finished discharging the calcium chloride, disconnected from the Barge and made the trip down river to check on the status of the lake before towing their empty barge out. They came back into Port at 18:05, back up river to the barge, tied all up and for real, departed Duluth at 20:30, heading back to Ludington MI for their next adventure.
