2025 0403 Quarterly Meeting of the MGAC Emergency Preparedness Committee

April 3, 2025 quarterly meeting of the Emergency Preparedness Committee of the Minnesota Geospatial Advisory Council.
- Topics include recent developments for the committee and its project teams. A point of emphasis was the EPC's priority goal for 2025: development of a guide which will explain for GIS and responders the remote sensing and mapping resources that are available across the response spectrum, how to obtain those resources, and what the respective costs are for using the asset.
- A separate video is available which provides the educational event which took place as part of the meeting: a review of Minnesota state geospatial standard U.S. National Grid and its potential uses for disaster/emergency preparedness and response.
