This home is heated and cooled by a ground-source heat pump. Three 300-foot wells were drilled in the backyard for that purpose. The backyard was then resodded with Tahoma 31 sod from Green Valley Turf in Littleton, which uses much less water and requires only monthly mowing. Their electric bill is typically $26 per month, and that includes charging their Tesla! The most unusual feature of the home is the carpet tiles in a couple bedrooms which are made from reclaimed fishing line from the ocean!
