Losing to Khabib Was Not The End For Justin Gaethje

Justin Gaethje had the misfortune of running into a prime Khabib Nurmagomedov as he looked to send an almighty message about his merits within the UFC’s P4P conversation.

Gaethje was a legitimate threat to the now-retired champion on the night, make no mistake. But overall, it was more a testament to The Eagle’s dominance than anything else that caused the contest to play out the way it did.

For Gaethje made it interesting on the feet – of that there was no doubt.
But for me, the vast gap in skill on the ground was what truly shocked me.
