A new and emerging Brisbane based ensemble, born of the combination of talented Brazilian accordion player Ricardo Bona, passionate Spanish singer and guitar player Tania Balil, and Swedish exquisite violin player Rebecca Karlen. Together they are building musical bridges across time and space, going back to the origins of the European/American connection when the Caravelas brought people from afar to the then New World, and started an interaction between different peoples, languages, cultures, music, rhythms and dance that has enriched the cultural landscape for more than 500 years. Be prepared to go on an evocative and captivating journey, to place you in a "moment in time" of this intercultural collaboration.
