The Only Eyeshadows I'm Using From My Makeup Collection

Hey guys!

So today I thought I would share with you guys why I am only using 4 eyeshadow palettes on my channel from now on.

So far I only have 3 of the 4 but I will picking up the final one very soon.

Are we surprised that two of them are the Makeup Geek Matrix System?

Im definitely not :)

I gotta tell you, I am feeling nothing but excitement over the idea of curating my makeup collection down EVEN MORE.

For those of you who are new, I have been on a journey of only having the things that I absolutely love in my stash. I am in the process of filming myself decluttering the majority of what I own to make way for the things I love.

i think we can get caught up in the idea that we have to hang on to ALL OF THE THINGS simply because…well….I already PAID for it.

I don’t subscribe to that anymore.

Seeing all the makeup I own that I never use has opened my eyes to just how much we can let marketing, or gurus, or trends shape our spending habits when it should truly be us buying things for who we ARE and what we actually use, and not what social media tells us is trending.

I know a lot of people in the beauty commune are aspiring content creators and I think the idea that buying more stuff to keep up with the Jones’s is the absolute worst way to go about this. TRUST ME.

Finding techniques, products, and a message that are authentic to you is what will ultimately make you stand out in the long run.

And since I have ALWAYS been a single shadow girl I am so excited that there is a chance clunky, uninspired, and EXPENSIVE eyeshadow palettes will be on the way out soon.

Single eyeshadows might be more expensive to invest in right away, but the thing is, over time you save waayyyy more money and end up getting so much more use out of it,
