How to Remove and Reset the Power-On Password for a Thinkpad (Lenovo, IBM, T61, T400 etc)

But for this video, I will show how to remove a power on password:
Turn off laptop, remove battery.
Remove palmrest, and remove keyboard (leave keyboard plugged in).
Remove CMOS battery, and boot up the laptop without CMOS battery.

Your Power-on password is now removed, put it all back together and enjoy!

***This will not remove a supervisor password. This will not remove a Windows password. This WILL remove a Thinkpad Power-On password. ***
