Asynchronous Binary Counter Using JK Flip Flops | Easy Explanation | HINDI

In this video, we understand a 2-bit asynchronous binary counter (ripple counter) using JK flip flops with negative edge triggering.

We explain how a counter works as a sequential circuit and how it counts in binary from 0 to 3. This circuit uses two JK flip flops where the first flip flop is connected to the clock and the second flip flop is triggered by the output of the first flip flop.

We also explain the concept of ripple effect and propagation delay in asynchronous counters.

At the end, we analyze the waveforms:

first waveform → clock signal
second waveform → q0 (least significant bit)
third waveform → q1 (most significant bit)

You can clearly see that the counter changes state on the negative edge of the clock and follows the sequence:

00 → 01 → 10 → 11

This is a perfect beginner-friendly explanation of binary counters in digital electronics.
