Hi everyone,

I had my campus affidavit and final semester marksheet rejected during Cognizant document verification.

📌 My Situation:

• Affidavit: Rejected
• Final Semester Marksheet: Rejected
• Marksheet not released yet by college
• Cognizant HR informed me that it may only delay DOJ if other documents are submitted

❓ Query:

How many chances do we get to reupload rejected documents?

Can I upload the corrected affidavit now and submit the marksheet later once my college releases it?

💡 Answer:

Generally, Cognizant allows candidates to reupload rejected documents through the portal when a document is rejected.

• There is usually no publicly fixed number of attempts mentioned.
• The portal access and deadline decide how many times you can update.
• If the document is genuinely unavailable (like final semester marksheet not released), HR usually handles it through clarification or delayed submission.

📌 Recommended:

• Upload the corrected affidavit as soon as possible
• Do not upload incorrect/fake documents repeatedly
• Keep proof from college regarding pending marksheet/result
• Contact Cognizant HR if the portal does not allow reupload

Since HR already informed that it may only delay DOJ, it looks more like a verification delay rather than cancellation.
