Hi everyone,

I recently heard from a senior that TCS has temporarily slowed/stopped onboarding and that a large number of candidates have already been hired.

According to him:

• TCS hired more candidates than expected
• Current onboarding is being managed in batches
• Some candidates may have to wait a few more months for Joining Letters

❓ Is This True?

Has anyone received similar information from HR, managers, or internal sources?

💡 Answer:

As of now, there is no official announcement from TCS stating that onboarding has been completely stopped.

However:

• TCS often releases joining letters in batches based on business requirements.
• Delays in onboarding are common when project demand and training capacity are being balanced.
• Many candidates are still receiving DV mails, offer letters, IPA surveys, and joining communications, which suggests onboarding is continuing, although possibly at a slower pace.

• Delayed onboarding ≠ cancellation
• Batch-wise onboarding is normal in TCS
• Waiting periods can vary significantly between candidates
