Vulpes vulpes (Red Fox) Drinking Water & Birds Singing

Red fox (Vulpes vulpes). Birds are singing, and a female red fox, a vixen, is licking up water with her tongue that she is drinking from a freshwater river in her natural habitat that supports many wild animals. This vixen is also a mother fox, and she has taken a break from caring for her baby foxes that are denning in the forest beside the river. The red fox is a carnivorous meat-eating canine mammal animal predator that hunts other animals when it is feeding and dining; they are carnivores with excellent hunting skills for catching a large variety of animals, including birds and other smaller mammals. Their keen eyesight and hearing help them achieve the necessary amount of successful pounce and attack animal prey hunts. However, the red foxes are predators, occasionally eating different plants, fruit, and grains when foraging for nutritional food to add to their predatorial meat-eater diets. A female red fox is known as a vixen, a male red fox is known as a dog fox, and a fox baby is known as a kit or cub.
