Wisteria

Wisterias are mostly native to Asia and North America but are widely cultivated in other regions for their attractive growth habit and beautiful profuse flowers.

Wisteria sinensis, commonly known as the Chinese wisteria, is a species of flowering plant in the pea family, native to China.

Chinese wisteria twines counterclockwise while Japanese wisteria twines clockwise.
