The K.I.S.S. method to turkey hunting

For this particular bird, I went out on a whim to a spot around 9am, sat down and called for roughly 4 minutes, and this tom sounded off over 500 yards away it seemed right off the bat. Another 3 minutes of calling and you can see, he covered that distance pretty quick. I'll take a 7 minute hunt any day!
