DIY: Off White c/o Virgil Abloh Denim Skeleton Jacket & Styling *No Sew* CHEAP!

Off White has come into the spotlight for its dope but expensive street wear. Until I can afford to drop $1,495, I’ll be creating something similar for far less. This jacket style is no longer available online! Virgil Abloh (creator of Off White) was just named Artistic Director of Menswear at Louis Vuitton 🙌🏾

Great for men or women! This DIY denim jacket can be altered and distressed to your liking!

Random Things I Want To Mention:

This could have been even cheaper if I stuck to the dollar store. Lol tried to get fancy with the liquid stick and quilt John took which both didn’t work as well. An exacto knife and sewing would’ve worked as well.

I don’t make clothing, I’m just cheap. There are many different ways that this Jacket can be made! I just did what I thought was best at the time. There are some changes I would suggest making.

I would not have had the jean jacket be as oversized as it was. I think a more tapered look would have been better. The quilting tool I used was not great for denim. I eventually made it work by making dashes along my lines then ripping through them. I used the scissors to cut parts I could not tear. Tearing was better for the frayed look. I also would have picked another way to adhere the mesh. The adhesive is used was like lash glue. It ultimately had to get tacky before I could stick anything to it. I’d use iron on hem maybe. Sewing would’ve been less messy. If you want to make this, use items you have! Designer clothing can be pricey so save money and get creative!

The original designer jacket is also sold out and no longer available. I’ve been wanting to make this for about a year! Better late than never!
