WATCH: Rep. Jeffries defends ‘abuse of power’ impeachment article | Trump's first impeachment

Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., argued against an amendment to the articles of impeachment that would remove the “abuse of power” accusation against President Donald Trump. Jeffries said the witness testimony and documents lawmakers had collected paint a clear picture of how Trump used his authority to pressure Ukraine to investigate the Bidens. The House Judiciary Committee on Dec. 12 considered revisions to the articles of impeachment and voted on whether to send those articles to the full U.S. House of Representatives. Democrats on Tuesday filed two articles of impeachment against Trump -- abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
