Samuel Ketchum Grave & Story

This historical Odd Fellows cemetery holds the grave of an old west outlaw named Samuel Ketchum. But it also has many people from the city of Santa Fe, New Mexico. There are still families that visit this cemetery but there are many graves that have fallen in disrepair. Trash is everywhere and there is a counter business next door that is dumping their scraps in the cemetery. You can see these scraps in piles and throughout the cemetery. In many cases it looks like they are throwing pieces just to see how far they can get them. It's definitely sad to see and I feel the city of Santa Fe needs to come down hard on that business to clean up their trash.
