Spider Egg Case Cake

Make a creepy spider egg case cake!
* I'm going to mention this again here: Using small plastic pieces in and around a cake can be be a choking hazard. This would not be suitable for small children unless you used a lot bigger spiders.

Cake:
1 package cake mix
1 package instant pudding mix
2 large eggs plus two egg whites
1/3 cup oil plus 2 tbps
1/2 cup water
1 cup sour cream

Stir together until you get a nice thick batter.

Frosting:
2 lbs icing sugar
1 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup (more or less) of milk or cream

Blend icing sugar and butter together, begin adding small amounts of milk and continue to blend until you get a texture you like. Add in a tsp of vanilla if desired. Blend at high speed until soft and fluffy.
