Onion Pro-biotic Enzyme Syrup (양파효소) by Omma's Kitchen
Onion Honey Pro-biotic Enzyme Syrup (양파효소) for Home remedy or cooking by Omma's Kitchen
Ingredients:
3 pounds of round onion, preferably red onion
5 pound raw local honey or 1 pound of raw local honey and 2 pounds of sugar
Large clean (sanitized) glass jar
Small clean (sanitized) glass jar
This is a sweet syrup to use in cooking, drinking as a tea or home remedy for cold. It's used to help with digestion but also for constipation. Be sure to do a research on your own so that you're more informed.
You can do this with fruits and any vegetables. I've made with seasonal fruits and use the peels (except honey dew, melon, watermelon, kiwi, mango, papaya) during summer. I've also made
with green leafy vegetables (kale, dandelion, celery, bokchoy and more) to mix with fruit enzyme to drink it every day as a tea. You add 25% enzyme with 75% water to drink as a tea.
My favorite enzyme is burdock root, ginger, round onion, garlic, beets, and fruit (all sorts of berries, pineapple, apple, kiwi, mango or peach). Don't forget to use rainbow colors to get different nutrients. :)
