Christian Advice for Handling Stress
Stress is a part of life, but how should Christians go about handling stress? In this video we look at four practical tips that the Bible gives for handling stress. These include: praying when you're stressed, surrounding yourself with friends, maintaining an eternal perspective, and simply doing the little things like eating, drinking, and getting rest. Whether you're stressed about finals, sports, work, family, or any number of things, my hope is that this video will help you find peace amidst the stress of life through Jesus.
Verses Mentioned:
1 Peter 5:7 "Cast your cares upon the Lord..."
Philippians 4:4-7 "Don't be anxious about anything..."
Colossians 3:2 "Set your mind on things above..."

About me:
Hey! My name is Austin, and I'm a 20 year old guy with a passion for people. I believe the good news is that God is better than we could've ever hoped, and I love sharing this message of grace and love with anyone that will listen. I'm the former Digital Marketing and Video Production Coordinator at a large, evangelical church in Frederick, MD, and I'm currently a student at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. When I'm not writing papers or making YouTube videos, I do freelance work as a Wedding Photographer/Videographer and social media consultant. On any given day you can find me with my nose in a book or a guitar in my hands. Want to get to know me more? Follow me and say hi on Instagram at: @austin.suggs
