The Importance of the Holy Ghost - My Testimony

Today I want to share how crucial the Holy Ghost is to have in your life.
I’m going to share some of my testimony.

No matter where you are in life, God has an ultimate purpose and destiny for you.

He knew each and every one of you before you were born.

- [ ] Each and every one of us have a choice to either search for the plan and purpose that God has
- [ ] Or to just go our own way and do what ever we want to do
- [ ] God created us with our own free will and we can choose which way we want to go
- [ ] His way
- [ ] Our our own way

The 1st thing we need to choose to go God’s way is to receive His Son, Jesus as our Lord and Savior

Ephesians 2:1-10 NLT 
1 Once you were dead because of your disobedience and your many sins.
2 You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God.
3 All of us used to live that way, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. By our very nature we were subject to God’s anger, just like everyone else.
4 But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much,
5 that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)
6 For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.
7 So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus.
8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.
9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
10 For we are God’s masterpiece.
He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
God wants you to succeed in life and He has already planned your success

Jeremiah 29:11 AMP
11 For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

I believe that God’s ultimate plan and purpose for me is to come along side my husband,David.

God dropped France and other nations in him.
- [ ] to help the nation of France and beyond come to the Lord Jesus
- [ ] and to raise up strong men, women & children to be laborers into the mission field of France and beyond.

Did I know this at an early age. Definitely not!
* But God is the master of bringing His plans and purposes to pass

It is CRUCIAL:
Being in the Right Faith Filled Church with the Pastor that God has precisely for you.
A Church that preaches the uncompromised Word of God and allows the Holy Ghost demonstrate the Word that is taught.

Matthew 7:7 NLT
7 “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.

John 15:26 NLT
26 “But I will send you the Advocate—the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me.

John 16:7, 13-15 NLT
7 But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you.

Matthew 3:11 NLT
11 “I baptize with water those who repent of their sins and turn to God. But someone is coming soon who is greater than I am—so much greater that I’m not worthy even to be his slave and carry his sandals.
He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

Luke 3:16 NLT
 John answered their questions by saying, “I baptize you with water; but someone is coming soon who is greater than I am—so much greater that I’m not even worthy to be his slave and untie the straps of his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

After Jesus was raised from the dead
And Before He left to go back to Heaven to sit at the Father’s right hand He said this:

Acts 1:8 NLT
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

Acts 2:1-4 NLT
1 On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place.
2 Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting.
3 Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them.
4 And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.

Psalm 16:11 AMPC
11 You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.
