TODAY - REASON 40 - JESUS GAVE US PROSPERITY GRACE! - David and Carol Joy Breed

Jesus was made poor us - The giving grace/power grace of Jesus - Prosperity is one of the reasons why Jesus went to the cross!
The apostle Paul paints an incredible picture of God's grace as a model for our giving!

2 Corinthians 8:9 (NKJV)
9 For you know the grace (GIVING PROSPERITY GRACE & ABILITY) of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

Jesus gives us the ability to get through financial circumstances through the prosperity grace and ability through His sacrifice on the cross for us. (salvation)
For the sake of time let's look at the highlights from first Corinthians chapter 8 and see the heart of why Jesus went to the Cross:

Remember it is a GIVING GRACE - an ability of God given to us through Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross - This prosperity grace is part of our salvation - SALVATION BUNDLE/ ASSORTMENT OR ARRAY OF GOD’S GIFTS GIVEN TO US THROUGH SALVATION/ PALLET OF GIFTS/HEAVENLY CONTAINER (SHIP/BOAT) MOUNTAIN OF GIFTS THE SIZE OF A PLANET/UNIVERSE
PART OF THIS NEW UNIVERSE OF BLESSINGS GOD HAS GIVEN TO US THROUGH JESUS CHRIST GOING TO THE CROSS FOR US

2 Corinthians 8:9
8:1 — “We want you to know, brothers, about the grace of God”
WHAT IS THIS GRACE? NEXT VERSES
8:2 — “. . . overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part”
THERE IS THE GRACE
8:4 — “. . . for the favor of taking part in the relief of the saints”
8:6 — “. . . this act of grace” = GIVING IS A GRACE
8:7 — “But as you excel in everything . . . see that you excel in this act of grace also” PROSPERITY GRACE
8:8 — “. . . your love is also genuine” = YOUR HEART TO GIVE IS THE REAL DEAL
9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

The Bible says This is the grace - Jesus became poor so I would be rich - His Son became poor so we would be rich!
