And this current video explains a little bit about how the best laid plans come to nothing and that you should always expect the unexpected. Especially when travelling.

I left London for 3.5 weeks in Recife, laptop in hand, to see if I could run my design business from over a thousand miles away. And the answer is ... well, I had a few issues.

First of all, I lost my luggage (more specifically the airlines TAP and TAM lost my luggage and then blamed each other for it going missing -- that wasn't predictable!) This was a big problem as I had my laptop's adaptor in the luggage and my asthma inhalers!

Then, I realised I was unable to get out any cash from any of the ATMs.

Having said that I was staying with friends so that was OK. In the video I show you my new flat in Boa Viagem, Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil. I talk about what's been happening, how my work has gone and settling into my new home.
