Climbing Mt. Island (6189 M) | Expedition | Glimpses

During Giripremi's Pune Everest 2012 expedition, the team of climbers successfully climbed Mt. Island Peak (6189 M) located near Mt. Everest. It was an acclimatization exercise for the highest challenge of Mt. Everest. On April 10, 2012, the team reached the top of Mt. Island. It helped them in climbing Mt. Everest in the next month. Giripremi's eight climbers unfurled the Indian tricolor on the top of the world at the dawn of May 19, 2012.
