Albero Bello ( in english Beautiful Tree ) , a small town in Bari , Apulia, Italy Is famous for its unique " Trulli " constructions .

The first occupation started in early 16th century where the Count of Conversano allowed 40 peasant families to settle and cultivate lands , with the obligation to give him the tenth of the crops .

A trullo ( singular of Trulli) is a traditional dry stone hut with a corbelled roof normally made of dry limestones ( mortarless) construction , a pre historic building technique still in use in the region and in many places in Italy .

Albero Bello Is the only inhabited center with the entire district of Trulli , for that it's therefore considered the cultural heritage of the Valle D'Itria and in 1996 a UNESCO World Heritage.
