Jesus appears to Mary

After Jesus rose from the dead, the Bible records that He first appeared to Mary Magdalene. The gospel accounts differ slightly on details.

I find it amusing that in the gospel of John, John records information about himself in an interesting way. He is the disciple whom Jesus loved (Jn 20:2,) he outran Peter and arrived at the tomb first (Jn 20:4,) and John believed (Jn 20:8,) although they did not yet know the scripture that said the Christ must rise again from the dead. (Jn 20:9)
