HOW TO PLAY a Miniature Drum SET!

This was a really fun video to put together. I have been wanting to make a HOW TO for mini drums for quite awhile now. The hardest part of playing mini drums is getting the power level right. To make them sound ok and get the satisfaction of playing a cool beat at the same time can be rather challenging.
This may be very difficult for those that are just beginning to play the drums. For beginners, you are taught to play as hard and loud as possible, to build confidence. Then as you gain confidence, you can begin to experiment with dynamics and volume shifts. I wish I could play these mini drums with full force, but until I make my own set that is more durable, I can't!
So if you have a mini kit and want to know how to play it better, try to use the feather grip on the sticks, use your wrists more than the arms, and play softer. This will help your accuracy and keep them from falling apart all the time!
