Odisha in One Month: A Physiotherapy Intern's Journey 🇮🇳 | Rural Posting Vlog
Hi, I’m Nidhi—a BPT intern from Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons with Physical Disabilities (PDUNIPPD), Delhi—currently posted at Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research (SVNIRTAR), Cuttack, Odisha, for my rural clinical internship.

In this video, I’m sharing my full Odisha experience as a physiotherapy student—from intern life in a rehab hospital to solo weekend travel and local discoveries.

Over this one month, I got to live the culture of Odisha, explore its natural beauty, and experience both personal growth and challenges. While weekdays were spent with patients in the neuro and ortho departments, weekends gave me time to explore:

🌄 Khandagiri and Udayagiri Caves
🌞 Konark Sun Temple (UNESCO Site)
🐅 Nandankanan Zoological Park
🌊 Chilika Lake Dolphin Point
🕌 Lingaraj Temple, Bhubaneswar
🌆 Evening strolls through Cuttack City

Also, shoutout to the local Odia street food—ghugni chaat, aloo chop, and the one I still can’t name (but dearly miss!). These became my comfort food after long shifts and late-night chats.

From clinical postings to rural healthcare exposure, and from solo travel experiences to learning to thrive alone, this month-long journey will forever stay close to my heart.
