If you know what is positive and negative, you can build your own solar generator.

You can get started for around $300. This will get you a 12 volt system with a 1280 watt hour Lithium iron phosphate battery, a 120 watt solar panel and a solar charge controller. You can run 12 volt appliances right off the 12 volt battery. If you need AC, add a modified or sine wave inverter and you can run many small appliances including a coffee maker. Be sure to add fuses or breakers to your system and don't short or reverse the polarity of your connections.
