GEOCONFINEMENT (CUTTER SOIL MIXING)

This video shows a geoconfinement wall of toxic/hazardous waste through the construction of an impermeable cutter soil mixing (CSM) wall.

The advantage of this tecnique is that the in situ soil is used to construct the wall, minimizing movement of contanimated soils to offsite landfills.
