🌙 RESTING IN TRUE TREASURE | Catholic Evening Prayer
Tuesday of the 2nd Week of Lent – March 3, 2026

As this day comes to a close, we enter into a peaceful and contemplative Catholic Evening Prayer, surrendering our attachments, anxieties, and ambitions into God’s faithful hands.

Tonight’s Lenten night prayer reminds us that earthly riches and recognition cannot redeem the soul — only Christ, the Lamb who was slain, is our true and lasting treasure.

📖 James 2:14, 17–18 – “Faith without works is dead.”
📖 Psalm 49 – The limits of wealth and the call to eternal trust

In this evening devotion, we:
✨ Examine our hearts with humility
✨ Detach from what fades
✨ Pray for peace in the Middle East and in regions affected by oppression
✨ Intercede for the Church and the world
✨ Entrust our families and homes to Saint Joseph

March is dedicated to Saint Joseph, guardian of the Holy Family and protector of the Universal Church. We also remember Saint Katherine Drexel, who chose heavenly treasure over worldly wealth and lived a life of generous service.
