Deploying .NET 5.0 Microservice in Amazon Elastic Container Service (AWS ECS, Linux, and Docker)
In this video, I will walk through how to deploy .NET 5.0 Microservice in Amazon Elastic Container Service (AWS ECS). And access the service through Amazon Application Load Balancer.
The topis I am going to cover as a part of this video is:
00:26 - .NET 5.0 Microservice
00:30 - Docker image in Elastic Container Registry (ECR)
01:20 - Create a new target group for the .NET 5.0 microservice
01:54 - Health check in the target group
02:30 - Create a new application load balancer using the newly created target group in the previous step
03:38 - New a new Amazon Elastic Container Service Cluster using Linux as the EC2 compute backing the services in the cluster
04:48 - Newly created EC2 instance
05:05 - Create a new task definition for the .NET 5.0 microservice to run inside of the Amazon Elastic Container Service Cluster
05:40 - Add a container inside of the task definition which will point to the ECR image for the .NET 5.0 microservice
06:55 - Create a new service inside of the Amazon Elastic Container Service Cluster using the task definition created in the previous step
08:46 - Open the service in the browser using ALB DNS
