In 1998, during construction, workers stumbled upon a burial site where the remains of 42 people were buried.

Some of the remains belonged to people between the ages of 35 and 45, but 20 skeletons belonged to children under the age of 8. This suggests that the mortality rate here was quite high.

The bones of the men showed signs of hard physical labor, but caries was rare for them. The average height of men was 160 centimeters, women 153. Women were buried with beads, and necklaces made of amber.

The inhabitants of this community grew grain, kept pigs and cows, as well as fished and hunted wild animals.
