Dead Dad's Kitchen | Italian Sandwiches w/ Gabbie Hanna!!

Hi, littlest baguettes! I wanted to take a second and say thank you - thank you a million times for the reception of the first Dead Dad's Kitchen. This is a window straight into my heart and I have never been that happy to see so many people staring into my windows.

This week I got to share a simple but very special recipe with my best friend Gabbie Hanna. My dad loves her and I know that you all do, too.
| Italian Sandwiches |

1 French Baguette (or Italian sandwich bread - never cared)
1 bag (or 1/4 cup) mayo
Salty Pep (that's what Frank called salt and pepper) to taste
~5 slices of each of your favorite Italian meats (prosciutto, cappocollo, salami, etc)
4 fresh mozzarella slices
1/2 cup bruschetta (tomatoes, olive oil, basil, garlic)
1 cup of spring mix (you could use literally any lettuce or veg - you don't even have to add it, I just like to pretend that I'm the vision of health once a month so I had it in the fridge)

Slather half of a sliced and butterflied baguette with your mayo and pop it on a grill pan or panini press for about 6 minutes.

Take it off, add salt, pepper and your mozzarella. Prettily assemble your selection of meats and place back on the grill pan.

Afix a heavy object on top or have your best friend burn herself a little and push the sandwich down for you.

Once the mozz is melted to your liking, remove from heat and dress with bruschetta and lettuce because hot tomatoes are gross.
