Wednesday is forecast to be the hottest day of the week for Northern California. Meteorologist Tamara Berg said a north wind will make areas north of Interstate 80 warmer than areas near the Delta. For example, peak temperatures in Yuba City are expected to reach the mid-to-upper 90s. Meanwhile, Fairfield is likely going to stay in the upper 70s or lower 80s.
