S1Ep71-Cantonese Honey-Glaze BBQ Pork-Char Siu 蜜汁叉燒

RECIPE BELOW: This is a classic Chinese deli BBQ pork with a sweet honey glaze. It's both juicy and tender with a rich savory taste.

Ingredients:
• ~6# whole Pork Butt/Shoulder-deboned, cut in 6-7 pieces-1.5" thick
• 2 cubes red fermented bean curd + 1/2 C fermenting liquid
• 1/2 C sugar
• 1/2 C Hoisin Sauce
• 1/4 C Shaoxing wine
• 1 C Soy sauce
• 1/2 C water
• 1.5 Tsp 5 spice powder *optional
Honey glaze: mix 2 Tbsp honey with 2-3 Tbsp hot water to desired consistency

**ROAST FOR A TOTAL OF 50 MINUTES, THEN SET UNDER THE BROILER FOR 1 MIN EACH SIDE
