Buying a house can be confusing, and I am on a mission to clear up the mystery and misconceptions that go along with purchasing a home. In late 2019 I bought my first house in Seattle. I found it the most helpful to hear other peoples real-life examples of home buying and their own mortgage costs. That is why I like to break it down for you! My new house is a 2nd home that I bought with my sister Shelby. We decided to purchase in Palm Springs, CA because we personally love it- it's close to LA where she lives and a quick flight from Seattle where I live. It also is a great market for turning your home into a short term rental Airbnb! We are currently renovating the house to be the perfect Palm Springs vacation home, and can't wait to get into on the rental market!
