According to a post on Twitter, BCI removed its statement related to Xinjiang forced labour on March 26, 2021.
BCI is a Europe-based non-government organization. It announced last October that it ceased all operations in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region amid accusations of forced labour. The statement has disappeared from the organization's website, as backlash grows in China against its members' attempts to boycott Sinjiang cotton.
