Prescott/ Greenfield, Iowa EF-3/EF-4 Tornadoes (5-21-24)

On May 21, 2024 a moderate risk for severe weather was placed for much of the state of Iowa into Wisconsin and Western Illinois. The day started off in West Des Moines, Iowa, with a severe line of thunderstorms, pushing through the area bringing intense 70mph winds. After that line pushed through the area I made my way west toward the Atlantic, Iowa area where I met with other chasers and talked about the setup that day! By 1pm CST storms began to fire up very quickly around the Omaha, Nebraska region and pushed east into Iowa. Once the storms made its way into Iowa the show was on but no one knew what was coming..
