After hair rigging 3 grains of corn, I like to add a small PVA mesh to create a little pile of attraction near my hook. The bag weighs very little so it will make very little disturbance when you cast it into a near margin. You just need to add a bit of salt to the sweetcorn to make it PVA friendly.
