River carp fishing in France: First river carp at 24lbs 12oz from the river Mayenne

Alexandre and I fished the river Mayenne for a day session. We pre-baited two swims for two days before with a mixture of corn, pellets and boilies. I used my home rolled Blue Oyster and the high protein 10mm house pellet that we use at Beausoleil. Alexandre used some D-liver boilies and his favourite pineapple baits. I managed to catch my first river carp mid morning 24lbs 12oz. Alexandre had a good day too and took two mid doubles which fought very hard.
