Ray Franz -- JW's don't notice "Jehovah" texts applied to Jesus ... WHY NOT? (Franz freedom 253)

In the Hebrew name for Jesus -- Yeshua -- there resides the very name of the Hebrew God, YAH, the short form for Yahweh, translated "Jehovah" by JW.org/Watchtower. Jehovah's Witnesses are trained to completely miss the significance of the abbreviation of the Tetragrammation appearing in the name "Jesus" -- but NEVER appearing in the rest of the Christian Greek Scriptures (with the sole exception of Revelation 19, where the short form "Jah" occurs 4 times -- again hidden in a Greek word, "hallelujah"). Jehovah's Witnesses are also almost totally oblivious to another important phenomenon of the New Testament: that is, the frequent application of texts to Christ which, in the Hebrew Old Testament, refer to Yahweh/Jehovah.
