Viridian HS1 IR laser (and problem with Ruger AR556 with Magpul handguard!).

In this video, I walk through the box opening, installation and testing on NVG of the Viridian HS1 hand stop IR laser on a Ruger AR556 with Magpul MOE hand guard (and a MAJOR problem with this setup!!), and then a proper and functional installation of the HS1 on an AR pistol. This was purchased to replace a (failed) Firefield Battletek IR laser which had previously lived on the AR. This video showcases a problem with the HS1 lasers that is apparently universal to all Magpul MOE handguards. Performance is shown at zero to 300 yards and then 600 yards, on high FOM L3 unfilmed aviation-grade Gen 3 NVGs (best of the best) on an incredibly dark zero lunar illumination night. I also do the close to the video with a side by side with NVG and 640 sensor thermal of me just talking to show the difference between the two higher end devices under extremely dark rural zero-light-pollution conditions. (Note, the NVG does not have the scintillation in real life, that is artifact created by the video recorder, not the NVG unit. In real life the image is as clear as looking through a good pair of binoculars)
