Deborah Cox Talks Importance of Black Music Honors

Deborah Cox has been releasing hit songs like "Nobody's Supposed to Be Here" since the 1990s. We talked to the singer about adapting to changes in the music industry caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as what it means to be recognized by others in the entertainment industry. This weekend Cox received the Entertainer Icon award at the 2020 Black Music Honors.
